Back from Oman. Of course it wasn’t all sand, rocks and heat. We were at a seaside resort called Barr Al Jissah, which is part of the world-wide Shangri La chain. Photographically speaking the trip was a bit of a disappointment because I couldn’t get to where I really wanted to get to take pics. The landscape in the Sultanate of Oman (at least the little we saw of it) is truly spectacular. This shot was taken on the bus ride between the capital city of Muscat and the resort.
