You can’t really get a “B” exposure setting on the Fuji Finepix S5600 I use, so I adjusted the settings to get a 3-second exposure. Then I just kept firing away and hoped that some of the frames would get a strike sometime during each exposure. You can’t wait until the actual strike to shoot lightning – by the time you press the shutter it’s gone. The only way to do it is with longer exposure times.
